Matt 24:10,11 Then he said to them: “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven.
“Catastrophic calamities are coming upon the earth, not one of these days in the distant future, but soon—now! Torrential rains, unsettling weather patterns, violent storms, floods, famines, droughts, earthquakes increasing in frequency and intensity, volcanic eruptions, and a host of other signs of the times Jesus told us to watch for are happening now.”

Flooding in northern India has killed at least 21 people in the north-eastern states of Sikkim and Assam. A state minister has called it the “worst flooding in the state since 1998.”
Sixteen bodies have been recovered in Sikkim including five members of the border police. Five people are still missing in the region. In Assam, five people have been confirmed dead however thousands are still marooned by the flooding and the death toll could rise when emergency personnel reach the trapped locations.
Rescue operations are still underway in both regions to those trapped by flooding and in rubble of buildings destroyed by the flood waters.
Assam is the same region where more than 70 died and nearly one million were displaced due to flooding.
