Matthew 24:7 Then he said to them: “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven.
<blockquote>“Catastrophic calamities are coming upon the earth, not one of these days in the distant future, but soon—now! Torrential rains, unsettling weather patterns, violent storms, floods, famines, droughts, earthquakes increasing in frequency and intensity, volcanic eruptions, and a host of other signs of the times Jesus told us to watch for are happening now.”

Hurricane Sandy, predicted by the National Hurricane Center to hit Jamaica, Cuba and the Bahamas, is on a path to potentially cause problems for the U.S. East Coast.
The Florida Keys and eastern coast of Florida have already been placed under a Tropical Storm Watch.
Current forecast models show a 50/50 chance of the storm turning eastward into the Atlantic instead of continuing a straight path that would lead it parallel to the U.S. coastline hitting Washington D.C., Delaware, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Even if the storm does not make landfall along the coast there could be significant damage to coastline towns from high waves, wind gusts and heavy rain.
The storm could also produce a heavy snowfall over part of the Appalachian Mountains.
Living in Miami, Florida for the last 52 years, I can plainly say that hurricanes are part of the east coast scene since time began. Every year, I with millions of others, prepare with survival stuff for at least 2 weeks. This is part of the scene down here in the Sunshine State.
No, I’m not making light of this as we always need to be prepared for any emergency in my opinion, and it might get worse during these end-times, but in itself, hurricanes are part of landscape down here and nothing unusual.
Could this possibly be the “lots of death by water” that Jim has been trying to warn us about?
sure would be nice to have one of those generators Jim has been offering right about now. Isaac was our last unwelcome guest, now here comes Sandy and they say she is strengthening. I am thankful because of the truths taught by Jim I am fairly well prepared. But there is always that if, what if the power fails, well I did order those hand flashlights that never need batteries and the extreme emergency kit as well as the seychelle and long term food. Plus I have water barrels. I keep thinking about what Jim said, don’t wait till the storm hits to start preparing, then its to late. I had this wonderful christian Aunt. An evangelist in the Church of God. When I was a young girl she told me, its LATER THAN YOU THINK. I never forgot her words.
