A little over a week after announcing that one of two vacationers had died from contracting hantavirus at Yosemite National Park, a second fatality has been confirmed by government officials.
Officials from Yosemite National Park officials have confirmed that over 1,700 visitors were put at risk for the potentially fatal disease after conditions in various rental cabins allowed infected rodents to breed and grow.
However, officials admit because of the amount of people who visit the park during the summer that it’s impossible to know how many people passing through the Curry Village area where the virus was discovered may have infected.
Park spokesman Scott Gediman reported that the company in charge of lodging facilities is working to make changes necessarily to keep rodents out of the living facilities.
“This is a wilderness setting,” Gediman said. “There are rodents and some are infected and that’s what happens.”
Been there and wonderful .and I agree that its wilderness,but I do beleave the rodents should not be in side close off all ways for them to get in we all have to do that at some time or another.sad people are dieing.
This is scary! I’ve never heard of hantavirus before. I hope it doesn’t spread to all the states.

We must speak to these evil tactics of satan, the Word of God, and command them to cease! We must not be in fear but speak, in control. What does Ps. 91 say? What does Mark 16: 15-18 say? And many other scriptures as well. Call things that are not as they should be! Rm. 4:17. Be CAREFUL what you say, because you know who is out there seeking whom he can kill, steal from and destroy!! We have been given the same authority Y’shua had when He walked on this earth. So, what’s the problem?! Y’shua says to trust, obey and believe in Him and not doubt!

Amen and AMEN!!!!! it’s just a shame that more Christians don’t know or believe that they have all authority….Plead the blood and believe….nothing can harm us in the name of Jesus…..
