Taliban Executes 12 Civilians In Afghanistan

Revelation 6:3-4 NCV When the Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, "Come!" Then another horse came out, a red one. Its rider was given power to take away peace (prosperity, rest) from the earth and to make people kill each other (butcher, slaughter, to maim violently, in streets), and he was given a big sword (assassins sword, terrorist, loud, mighty, sore afraid).

The Taliban continues to assert their terroristic power in Afghanistan ahead of NATO’s 2014 withdrawal from the country. Local officials say the group has executed 12 civilians in their latest round of violence.

Six men who had been working for a local contractor were found shot dead after negotiations for their release from the terrorist group failed Monday. The four engineers and two assistant workers were found shot in the head execution style. They had been working for the World Bank funded National Solidarity Program aimed at creating rural development.

Six other civilians were killed in an attack in the eastern Pakita province. The men were drivers for the local government and were killed because they were government affiliated according to local officials.

All foreign combat troops are due to leave Afghanistan by the end of 2014.
