A homicide bomber killed 13 people, 10 of the children, in a terrorist attack near the Afghanistan/Pakistan border.
The terrorist rode up toward a military patrol on a motorcycle and donated his explosive vest. The bomber killed two coalition soldiers and an Afghan policeman along with the children.
The attack took place just as the children were released for lunch. A witness told Reuters that most of the children were under 12.
The Taliban has increased their terror attacks as part of a “spring offensive”.
It was the second attack on Monday attributed to the Taliban. A roadside bomb killed seven in the eastern province of Laghman.
