Turkey: Syria Has Used Chemical Weapons

Revelation 6:3-4 NCV When the Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, "Come!" Then another horse came out, a red one. Its rider was given power to take away peace (prosperity, rest) from the earth and to make people kill each other (butcher, slaughter, to maim violently, in streets), and he was given a big sword (assassins sword, terrorist, loud, mighty, sore afraid).

Recep-Tayyip-ErdoganTurkey’s prime minister is making a bold claim that the Syrian government has used chemical weapons against citizens that it crosses the “red line” declared months ago by U.S. President Barack Obama.

“It has been passed a long time ago,” Recep Tayyip Erdogan told NBC News’ Ann Curry during an exclusive interview on Thursday.  “We want the United States to assume more responsibilities and take further steps. And what sort of steps they will take, we are going to talk about this.”

Among the evidence cited by Erdogan were “remainders of missiles” that he believes were used in multiple chemical attacks.  He estimates as many as 200 missiles have been used so far.   He also cited the wounds to Syrian who are fleeing over the Turkey/Syria border.

When Curry, referring to claims by Syrian sympathizers, mentioned the possibility rebels had used the weapons, Erdogan was adamant in his rejection.

“There is no way I can believe in this now. First of all, how are they going to obtain this? And who will give this to them?” he said.

The prime minister said that he would support a U.S.-enforced no-fly zone in Syria “right from the beginning.”  He also said that they have not provided military support to the rebels but have spent over $1 billion aiding 300,000 refugees from Syria.

Erdogan also said he has reports that President Assad’s wife and children have fled Syria.
