Philip Cameron sees a Holy Revival in America

Philip Cameron

By Kami Klein

Last night Philip Cameron and the worship team lifted spirits and joyfully shouted hope for a Holy revival like no one has ever seen before!  The Morningside Restoration Marathon is continuing on Grace Street and the outpouring of love and in the belief of this ministry is inspiring.

“God is raising up people RIGHT NOW who aren’t necessarily religious but hungry for GOD!”  Cameron declared!

America does need revival and what many are experiencing and seeing around the world is the the embracing of Jesus and of God’s Word.  Our partners are writing in and expressing this new hope for our country and the gentle courage to build up the Church.  During this Morningside Restoration Marathon, not only are the people working together for a common purpose, they are doing so with faith.

Faith is what Philip Cameron spoke of last night during the evening Praise service. “Ridiculous Faith that will bring a mighty pouring of the Holy Spirit!”

Philip recalled the path and restoration of Pastor Jim Bakker and how the Lord has walked with him in his obedience.  The amazing things that happened at Heritage, the people whose lives were changed in deep and profound ways, and the loving Christian family that was created there by the thousands who visited from all over the world.

“I am family here at Morningside too.  We are family and you are a part of this family too! I invite you to be a part of this ridiculous faith that can move mountains.  I see a revival happening here, a 24 hour a day revival with God’s mighty hand and love pouring out to America! If anyone can get a 24 hour a day revival going it would be Jim Bakker!  He is crazy enough in faith to do it!   This nation needs to be shaken from DC to Sacramento! “

We are family here at Morningside!   We are READY to take this message of the love and mercy of Jesus Christ and continue spreading it as far as God allows!  We need your help to make that possible!

Please consider a Thanksgiving donation.  Help us get this revival moving!  And don’t forget to keep watching our Restoration Marathon for more testimonies, fellowship and celebration for God’s incredible hand on you and on our ministry!

Rick Wiles: “God Is Whispering to You”

Recently, we have been listening to the prophets as we enjoyed our Prophetic Conference September 14 – 18. From morning until night we heard from God, we heard truth being spoken from many gifted voices. On Friday night, our prophetic conference concluded with our special guest Rick Wiles.

Rick Wiles, founder of TruNews, was led to speak to us about truly listening to what the Lord is saying to all of us. Rick addressed the question of whether the Holy Spirit has stopped talking.

“Where does it say that the Holy Spirit went mute and stopped talking two thousand years ago? There are some people that believe every single thing someone says that God is saying to them, but there has to be discernement. Satan gets in and confuses people. Discernment is key to knowing what God’s voice is.”

Wiles encouraged people to remember that God is talking to us all the time, wanting us to feel close to him. We expect him to be yelling out to us with signs and hearing His voice loud and clear but sometimes we have to listen harder and it is only because God is whispering.

“The reason God whispers to us is to beckon to us. If I am speaking to you in a very low whisper you have to get to the place where you are cheek to cheek with me to hear me. The reason God lowers his voice is to draw you closer to him. He is not being silent. You have to turn off the distractions. Society is inundated with distractions. Turn it off and listen to God’s voice.”

Reminding us too that God is not all flash and signs but desires a personal relationship with us. Every day He is sending His gifts and signs of His love for us, but we are not paying attention. We are not taking that time to spend and listen to what God wishes for us and what He is willing to show our hearts. Rick went on to say,

“People tend to want to know about the dramatic stuff. It’s always on the extreme. God moves in a quiet way and you have to look and listen and discern what God is doing in our lives. If you are going to walk in this time that we are in, you are going to have to listen to the whisper. We shouldn’t need huge signs all around us! We should be hearing his voice! Hearing, discerning and obeying.”

Learning to hear God was what this Prophetic Conference was all about and the amazing speakers found here at Morningside filled us with truly heartfelt revelations of these times. We do hope you will consider ordering these very valuable teachings. This is an incredible DVD set containing all of the show tapings, afternoon sessions and evening services. We wish you could have been here with us but we made sure you wouldn’t miss a single moment!

“Jump Started By The Holy Spirit”

The mother of a Missouri teen believed to have died in a lake says that God brought her child back from the dead.

John Smith, 14, was playing with two friends on frozen Lake Sainte Louise when they fell through the ice.  While the other two boys were rescued, the initial rescuers couldn’t find Smith.  It took 15 minutes for rescuers to find his body.

Doctors at St. Joseph Hospital performed CPR for almost half an hour without success.  After being clinically dead for 45 minutes, the doctors called Smith’s mother into the room to break the bad news.

Dr. Ken Sutterer said that when Joyce Smith came into the room, she refused to accept that her son was dead and began loudly praying.

“I don’t remember what all I said,” Joyce Smith said. “But I remember, ‘Holy God, please send your Holy Spirit to save my son. I want my son, please save him.’”

Within minutes, hospital personnel were stunned.  John’s pulse returned.  He was rushed to Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center where doctors were concerned that he would have permanent brain damage due to being without oxygen for at least 45 minutes.

Within 48 hours, Smith opened his eyes and responded perfectly to doctor’s questions.

“It’s a bonafide miracle,” said Dr. Jeremy Garrett, who tested Smith’s brain function.

The Year Ahead

As we look forward to the New Year of 2015 we realize that there is nothing more important than our health; physically, mentally and more importantly, spiritually.   After all . . . what will we be able to do for the Lord if we cannot face each new day with energy and the strength to accomplish what He has set before us?

This past year has been a rough one for me; however it is the joy of the Lord that is my strength! I have determined in my heart of hearts that this year will be a better one for all who are following the Lord Jesus and are led by the power of God’s Holy Spirit. Continue reading

Reflections on Thanksgiving

First of all, I’m thankful for the call God put on my life even before I was born. The Holy Spirit has been at work in my heart all my life and He called me to be a born again member of God’s own family. God continues to work in my life and will make sure I get to heaven safely because I trust in Him. It was God Who gave me the Dream, Vision and Purpose of my life’s work, and it is He Who enables me to keep doing it as long as He gives me strength!

Even though the going gets rough in life at times, we are tested and purified by fire:

1 Peter 1:7 ESV So that the tested genuineness of your faith—more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire—may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ. Continue reading

South Carolina Church Baptizes Over 700 At Church Camp

A church camp hosted by a South Carolina church ended up with a massive outpouring of the Holy Spirit that lead hundreds of youths to be baptized.

The summer camp of NewSpring church, which is called “The Gauntlet”, held baptisms for 733 teenagers in Daytona Beach, Florida.  The event is in its 9th year and had over 3,000 middle and high school students for four days of experiencing God and developing fellowship with their peers.

“The thing that sets the Gauntlet apart is relationships,” NewSpring spokeswoman Suzanne Swift told The Christian Post on Monday. “Culture offers a lot, but the hope we have in Jesus coupled with the community that students build at the Gauntlet is what makes it different. Once students experience hope in Jesus they tell everyone about it.”

Pastor Perry Noble said that of the 733 who were baptized, 240 of them were teenagers who accepted Christ for the first time.

The church was quick to note they do not require the teens to be members of their church to be baptized, only to have accepted Christ as their Savior.  They encourage all the teens to be involved in a local church in their home communities.

Woman Credits Prayer With Saving Life In Car Accident

A Missouri woman says that prayer saved her life after being trapped inside a wrecked car for eight hours.

Cassandra Wiggins was traveling to work Thursday morning when her car hydroplaned, sliding across the road and down an embankment.  The car was 100 feet below the roadway but completely out of sight to the passing cars.

The 39-year-old lost consciousness during the wreck due to a blow to the head.  The woman was reported missing when her employers called Wiggins’ mother saying she had not arrived for work.

“It’s a mother’s gut and the Holy Spirit that told me that there was something seriously wrong,” Anita Finney told KSHB-TV. “And by that point, I could just start praying that the Lord would save her until I found her.”

Wiggins regained consciousness around 3 p.m. and was able to use her foot to reach her cell phone.  It took fire department personnel over two hours to free her from the crumpled car.  She suffered a severe hip injury that required surgery and will need rehab to learn to walk again.

“She said, ‘Daddy, I thought at first I was going to die, then I just kept praying,’” her father, Robert Wiggins, told KCTV News. “That’s what we taught Cass from early childhood, and that’s what she did and the Lord answered her prayer. So we’re grateful.  We’re thankful for the firemen that came and helped her up that hill,” he added. “I don’t see how they got up it; that hill was so long.”

A Powerful Outpouring On Grace Street

Last night, the Holy Spirit rained down on those in attendance at a special service led by Pastor Lloyd Zeigler, Bill Mulder and the members of the Master’s Commission team leading the worship.

After a powerful opening of worship that extended much longer than anyone had planned, Pastor Ziegler shared a powerful word about the chains that the enemy places upon us and the significance of Jesus paying the price for us.

“I was in Memphis, Tennessee,” Pastor Ziegler said, Continue reading
