UN Eases Ban On Selling Arms To Somalia

The Somalian government will finally be able to purchase weapons in it’s fight against Islamic terrorists in the nation.

The United Nations Security Council announced they are partially lifting a ban on selling weapons to Somalia that has been in place since 1992. The lift will allow the country’s new government to purchase light arms to help in its battle to keep Islamic militants from taking over the country and to take back land under the control of the terrorists. Libyan Islamists Torture Christians

Christians in Benghazi, Libya were captured and tortured last week by Islamists.

The 48 Christians were initially held on charges of proselytizing as Islamist Salafists claimed they had Christian icons in their marketplace stalls.

The Islamists shaved the heads of the Christians, beat them and in some cases used acid to burn tattoos of the cross off the bodies of the men. The men were eventually released but are going to be deported by the Islamic dominated government. Continue reading

Nigerian Military Kills 20 Terrorists

Nigerian troops have killed 20 members of the Islamic terror group, Boko Haram, according to an army spokesman.

The terrorists had attempted to take over a military barracks in Monguno, in the extreme northern part of the country. In addition to killing 20 of the terrorists, the troops were able to capture weapons and ammunition from the assault force. No military members were apparently wounded in the assault. Mali Refugees Afraid To Return Home

A senior UN official has told the BBC that hundreds of thousands of Malian nationals who fled in the wake of Islamic terrorists taking over the northern part of the nation have refused to return out of fear the terrorists will regain control of the region.

The refugees cited a pattern of rape and amputations against women and children by the Islamists as the leading fears preventing their return. Continue reading

Terrorists Kill 17 In Afghani Police Station Attack

Terrorists attacked a police outpost in central Afghanistan has killed 11 policemen and 6 others.

The attack infiltrated a sleeping quarters in the compound where the 17 men were killed while they slept. The Islamists reportedly poisoned the men before shooting them. Police officials say the six who were not officers likely were visiting friends at the base when they were killed. Continue reading

Islamist “Manifesto” Shows Divisions In Malian Terrorists

A “manifesto” discovered by journalists covering the fighting between French forces and Islamic terrorists in Mali appears to indicate divisions between the terror groups trying to take over the nation.

A French newspaper published the paper allegedly written by Abdel Malek Droukdel, the head of Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb. AQIM is the leading terror group in the attempt to overthrow the Mali government. Continue reading
