Syrian rebels overran opposition at a base 15 miles west of Aleppo. The assault reportedly had been lead by Islamic militants.
The rebels reportedly gained access to anti-aircraft guns and other military weaponry, giving them a significant advantage in the battle for the largest city in the country. Videos posted online showed rebels taking control of a tank. Continue reading

Suspected Taliban Members Kills U.S. Troops
Two U.S. soldiers have been killed in Afghanistan by a man dressed in an Afghan police uniform. The forces attached to NATO were shot in Khas Uruzgan, about 250 miles from the capital of Kabul.
Last month the U.S. has suspended training of Afghan police because of insider attacks. Officials wouldn’t confirm that this terrorist was connected to the Taliban but said it was possible the attacker was a militant dressed in a police uniform. Continue reading

Nigeria Thwarts Islamic Terrorist Plot While Stopping Illegal Arms Shipment
Nigerian military forces have thwarted a plot to launch what they term “massive attacks” by the Islamic extremist group Boko Haram while in another part of the nation stopping an illegal shipment of arms from Russia.

Al-Qaeda Plot In Jordan Stopped
Eleven terrorists have been arrested in Jordan in connection to an al-Qaeda plot. The men are reported to have planned attacks on Western diplomats and high-traffic locations like shopping centers.
Officials told the BBC the attack was planned to fall on the anniversary of attacks in Amman on November 9, 2005 when three al-Qaeda terrorists made homicide bomb attacks on three hotels killing 60 people. The plot reportedly has been in the planning stages since June where al-Qaeda operatives trained the men to create homemade explosives. Continue reading
Taliban Wounds 45 In Attack on NATO/Afghan Base
A Taliban attack on a joint NATO/Afghan Army base has injured at least 45 troops.
The lone terrorist drove a vehicle packed with explosives to the gates of the base in Zurmat. Most of the wounded soldiers were hit with shards of broken glass. All of the wounded are reportedly Afghani soldiers. Continue reading
Islamic Terrorists Attack Kenyan Police
Terrorists launched a grenade attack that injured at least 10 Kenyan police officers was apparently carried out in retaliation for Kenyan military assistance to troops in Somalia fighting the al-Shabab Islamic terrorist organization.
The officers were assaulted as they searched a house near Mombasa for weapons. They were attacked after finding an AK-47 rifle and two grenades. Continue reading
France Uncovers “Biggest Bomb Plot In Years”
French police arrested 12 people in weekend raids resulting in the discovery of one of the biggest bomb plots in the nation in almost 20 years.
Prosecutors on Friday announced that one suspect was killed after firing on police officers. Five of those detained have been released but seven remain in custody including two that Paris prosecutor Francois Molins said had connections to an international Islamic Jihadist network. Continue reading
