Christians in Benghazi, Libya were captured and tortured last week by Islamists.
The 48 Christians were initially held on charges of proselytizing as Islamist Salafists claimed they had Christian icons in their marketplace stalls.
The Islamists shaved the heads of the Christians, beat them and in some cases used acid to burn tattoos of the cross off the bodies of the men. The men were eventually released but are going to be deported by the Islamic dominated government. Continue reading →

An American diplomat killed in Tuesday’s terror attack on the US Consulate in Benghazi, Libya told friends on an internet gaming site that it was possible he could “die tonight.”
Sean Smith, the father of two killed in the attack, was an active player on the gaming forum “EVE Online” where he went by the nickname “vilerat.” Smith was killed along with US Ambassador to Libya Christopher Stevens and two others. Continue reading →
Terrorists are attempting to disrupt Libya’s Saturday election by destroying ballots and firing on transports taking ballots to remote locations.
A depot holding ballots and election equipment in the city of Ajdabiya was firebombed destroying everything inside the building. The attack came less than a week after an attack on the electoral commission in Benghazi. The firebombing happened just before sunrise. Tribal clashes in Libya have killed 105 people and left over 500 injured according to the Libyan government.
The government deployed the army to the region and has reported no new fighting since troops arrived on the scene. The clashes have been happening in cities 90 miles south of the capital city of Tripoli. Continue reading →
