American Diplomat Told Friends He Could “Die Tonight”

Revelation 6:3-4 NCV When the Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, "Come!" Then another horse came out, a red one. Its rider was given power to take away peace (prosperity, rest) from the earth and to make people kill each other (butcher, slaughter, to maim violently, in streets), and he was given a big sword (assassins sword, terrorist, loud, mighty, sore afraid).

“We have so devalued human life in our society that for many people it is a small thing to kill another person.”

-Jim Bakker in “Prosperity and the Coming Apocalypse”

An American diplomat killed in Tuesday’s terror attack on the US Consulate in Benghazi, Libya told friends on an internet gaming site that it was possible he could “die tonight.”

Sean Smith, the father of two killed in the attack, was an active player on the gaming forum “EVE Online” where he went by the nickname “vilerat.” Smith was killed along with US Ambassador to Libya Christopher Stevens and two others.

Just hours before the attack, Smith sent a message to Alex Gianturco, the “director” of “Goonswarm,” the online gaming guild to which Smith was seen as a “leader.”

“Assuming we don’t die tonight,” the message read, “We saw one of our ‘police’ that guard the compound taking pictures.”

A member of his guild posted a tribute online that contained a chilling message.

“Not even 12 hours ago we were talking in jabber,” the post said, “[Smith] had made a joke about the lack of security in such places and crappy internet. The whole thing seems surreal.”

President Obama vowed Wednesday to work with the Libyan government to find the killers and bring them to justice.

  1. taking some action..call the senators, congressmen, sign the petitions go out and be the light we r supposed to be. Darkness cannot stand where there’s light. This a spiritual battle it’s time we start using our weapons of warfare and God will overthrow this insidious evil sneaking into our leadership on all levels.

  2. 11Chronicles 7:12..But how can God come back in when we have leadership that won’t allow the mere mention of His name. Yes, what happened in Libya was horrific. Wake up Church just praying isn’t enough anymore. We need to realize who we r in Christ and become confident and show some courage and start doing something.
