UN Nuclear Watchdog Group Rebukes Iran

Revelation 6:3-4 NCV When the Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, "Come!" Then another horse came out, a red one. Its rider was given power to take away peace (prosperity, rest) from the earth and to make people kill each other (butcher, slaughter, to maim violently, in streets), and he was given a big sword (assassins sword, terrorist, loud, mighty, sore afraid).

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is condemning Iran for the country’s refusal to suspend uranium enrichment despite repeated admonitions from the United Nations.

Thirty-one of the 35 members voted in favor of the resolution condemning Iran, who continues to claim their enrichment is peaceful in purpose.

Cuba opposed the reprimand. Egypt, Ecuador and Tunisia abstained from the voting. All four nations are part of a “Non-Aligned Movement” of which Iran is the current President of the group.

A total of six resolutions, four containing sanctions, have been passed by the United Nations.

The resolution by the IAEA was proposed by the United States, China, Russia, Germany, and France. The statement proclaimed Iran’s “procrastination” as “unacceptable.”

The European Union is reportedly considering additional sanctions against Iran for their continued refusals to adhere to the UN declarations.
