Wisconsin company offers employees microchip implants

(Reuters) – A Wisconsin vending machine company is offering its employees a chance to have a microchip implanted in their hands that they could use to buy snacks, log in to computers or use the copy machine.
About 50 employees at Three Square Market have agreed to the optional implant of the chips, which are the approximate size and shape of a grain of rice, said Tony Danna, vice president of international sales at the River Falls-based company.
The company, which employs 85, said it was the first in the United States to offer staff the technology which is similar to that used by contactless credit cards and chips used to identify pets.
The implants made by Sweden’s BioHax International are part of a long-term test aimed to see if the radio-frequency identification chips could have broader commercial applications, Danna said.
“We’ve done the research and we’re pretty well educated about this,” Danna said in an interview.
The company is holding an Aug. 1 “chip party” where employees will have the device inserted between their forefinger and thumb using a syringe-like instrument.
The RFID chips use electromagnetic fields to communicate and can be read at a distance of no more than 6 inches (15 cm), Danna said.
Critics of using chips in humans include Nevada State Senator Becky Harris, who in February introduced legislation that would make forced installation of microchips illegal.
“It is possible to hack the information that is contained within the chips,” Harris told a state Senate Judiciary Committee meeting at the time.
The company’s CEO Todd Westby in a statement predicted the technology could become popular among companies.
“Eventually, this technology will become standardized allowing you to use this as your passport, public transit, all purchasing opportunities, etc.,” he said.

Company develops ‘tech tattoos’ to store medical, financial info
A software company has created a “tech tattoo” that allows a person to store their medical and financial information inside his or her body, according to a new report from CBS New York.
Officials from Chaotic Moon, the company behind the tattoos, told the television station that the tattoos can monitor a patient’s vital signs and other medical information and wirelessly send the data to doctors. The tattoos, which use special ink and microchips, can last up to a year and may replace the need for people to visit doctors for their annual physicals, according to the report.
The tattoos could also one day be used to help locate lost children or monitor the vital signs of soldiers in combat, the television station reported, and might also eliminate the need for wallets because people will be able to store their credit card information and identification in them.
British Scientist Says Human Microchipping Will Be Mandatory
A British scientist says that the implanting of microchips in humans will be something that won’t be seen as optional in the near future.
Dr. Mark Gasson of the University of Reading in Britain says that RFID tags will become so commonplace that everyone will be expected to have one for business and healthcare.
“It’s not possible to interact in society today in a meaningful way without having a mobile phone,” Dr. Gasson told the Sydney Morning Herald. “I think human implants will go along a similar route. It will be such a disadvantage not to have the implant that it will essentially not be optional.”
Gasson is known as the first human being to contract a computer virus after a chip in his arm placed in 2009 that carried a virus, which infected his school’s entire computer network.
“It has the potential to change the very essence of what it means to be human,” Dr. Gasson said.
VeriChip, a company that provides RFID chips to medical facilities, has recently began a campaign encouraging parents to microchip their children to protect their children in the event of kidnapping. However, it has been revealed the company’s chips do not have GPS technology, so they would be useless in an actual search for missing children.
When People Get Hungry
This may be the most important blog I’ve ever written. It’s been weighing heavy on my heart recently about why people should store food and water. It’s more than just about not going hungry, which pulls on the heartstrings. None of us want our families to go hungry. Most of us would do just about anything to keep our loved ones alive – to keep them from starving to death in a famine. Wouldn’t we?
But what are you willing to do to keep them from taking the “mark” and entering an Antichrist system which will eventually mean the loss of not only their lives, but their souls as well? …because that’s what it will come down to.
Are we thinking that in this country, we are going to be exempt from Matthew 24 – or that the Four Horses won’t gallop in our own backyard? How is it that we’ve been lulled to sleep and reassured by our Laodicean leaders?
The Times that are coming are not just about lack of food. The Times that are coming are going to be like none other ever before, when everything you need to survive is not available unless you are in the ‘system’, i.e. you have received the Antichrist’s mark.
Food, medications and medical care, housing, compensations, etc. – all of what we know as our current way of living could be used to force us to become involved in an Antichrist system unless we are prepared – that is, as prepared as we can possibly be.
There are going to be many methods by which the Antichrist will force his mark upon people. There is no Christian that I know who wants this mark, but will you take it if it means your family will have food? Will those you love be forced to take it to feed or shelter their families and care for their medical needs?
When someone you love says to you, “I don’t know what else to do – I guess I will have to take the mark in order to feed my family,” wouldn’t it be wonderful if you could tell them “you don’t have to do that, I have food for you!”
We do what we do because we believe with all our hearts that there are Times of Trouble coming – we will be here on this earth for at least part of that trouble – and if we are not prepared, some will succumb to those troubles and do whatever they have to do to survive including taking the Antichrist’s mark.
Let me be clear that this ‘mark’ is not well defined yet, and we are not attempting to define it. We are simply saying that you and your loved ones should not be forced into anything that doesn’t seem right to you – and the way to keep from it, is to be prepared.
Jim and I teach preparation and living healthy because that means you may be able help yourself and others to withstand a famine or some natural disaster (or combination of natural disasters) without becoming dependent on others, i.e. having to sign up with an Antichrist system.
That’s wisdom – I don’t care how you slice it.
