An activist group inside Syria has reported the terrorist group ISIS brought 13 teenage boys into the middle of a Raqqa street and slaughtered them for watching a soccer match between Iraq and Jordan.
The boys were killed because the terrorists said their watching the match “broke Islamic principles.”
“The bodies remained lying in the open and their parents were unable to withdraw them for fear of murder by terrorist organization,” the group, Syria Being Slaughtered Silently, wrote on their website.
The murders come two days after the group released a video showing them throwing two men off the top of a tower in Mosul. The video shows a terrorist saying the two men violated Islamic law.
The group which released the information about the murders had published videos showing women taken from western countries being forced into internet cafes to call their families and tell them how much they love it under ISIS’ Caliphate.
Iran threatened Israel on Monday after an Israeli unit killed six Iranian agents during a raid on a Hezbollah terrorist cell.
Iran promised a “crushing response” against the Jewish nation.
“The experience of the past shows that the resistance current will give a crushing response to the Zionist regime’s terrorist moves with revolutionary determination and in due time and place,” Ali Shamkhani, the secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC), told reporters.
The incident comes a week after Iranian officials said they were operating missile sites in Syria and possibly control a nuclear facility.
“If the highest level of Hezbollah commanders were in the Golan Heights and the high level of Iranians, it means that their idea, [what] they’re planning could be a kind of operation, an act against Israel on a high level,” Major General Eyal Ben Reuven of the IDF said during a conference call Monday organized by the Israel Project (TIP). “It’s significant, the high level of this meeting, of this reconnaissance of the Iranians and Hezbollah.”
“It says something about what they plan, what kind of operation they planned,” he added. “If Israel has intelligence that says there is a kind of operation on the way to act against Israel, I think Israel would have a legitimate [reason] to do all we can to prevent it.”
Hezbollah has said they are preparing for war in northern Israel.
Survivors of the Boko Haram conducted massacre in northern Nigeria last week are starting to arrive in the southern part of the country and are sharing horrific stories.
Witnesses say that a pregnant woman who was in the middle of delivering a baby boy was killed by the terrorists. The survivors say that women and children were killed indiscriminately by the terrorists who never stopped to ask if the people were Muslim or of other faiths.
“They killed so many people. I saw maybe around 100 killed at that time in Baga. I ran to the bush. As we were running, they were shooting and killing,” one witness said.
Amnesty International has released satellite photos of the region showing the devastation left in the wake of the terrorists. Actual ground footage has been unavailable as the Islamists still control the area.
“These detailed images show devastation of catastrophic proportions in two towns, one of which was almost wiped off the map in the space of four days,” Daniel Eyre, Nigeria researcher for Amnesty International, told the Christian Post.
“Of all Boko Haram assaults analyzed by Amnesty International, this is the largest and most destructive yet. It represents a deliberate attack on civilians whose homes, clinics and schools are now burnt out ruins.”
“The numbers are adding up fast and it is becoming clearer and clearer that the Nigerian governments, both federal and states, are failing resoundingly in their responsibility to protect innocent lives and prevent this mass atrocities from going forward. These atrocities are increasingly becoming worse and worse as the times go by,” said Pastor Laolu Akande, the executive director of the Christian Association of Nigerian Americans.
Two people are dead after a raid by an anti-terrorism team in Verviers, Belgium.
The group had connected to the Islamic terrorist group ISIS and had been working on Paris-style terrorist attacks within Belgium.
VTM News reported that federal Belgian police were able to take one suspect into custody near a train station as part of the operation.
A senior Belgian counter-terrorism official says that the operation in Verviers is just one of several anti-terror raids currently taking place in the country. The group reportedly had just returned from Syria where they had received ISIS training on carrying out terrorist attacks.
The attacks reportedly were planned in retaliation for coalition airstrikes against ISIS.
The official said under condition of anonymity that situations on Thursday with the group changed to the point Belgian forces had to stop surveillance and immediately carry out the raid.
Boko Haram terrorists attacked the city of Baga and its surrounding villages and over 2,000 are reportedly dead from the assault.
“I received a message of the Christians Association of Nigeria, the association of Christian churches in Nigeria, which states that in that area Boko Haram has burned several churches and caused numerous victims” said Fr. Patrick Tor Alumuku, director of social communications of the Archdiocese of Abuja.
The attack from the terrorists started with a full assault on the military base in Baga. Once the terrorists captured the base, they began to kill anyone who was fleeing the villages into the bush.
The slaughter was so significant that bodies are still laying in the streets because there are not enough people to bury them all.
“I escaped with my family in the car after seeing how Boko Haram was killing people … I saw bodies in the street. Children and women, some were crying for help,” Mohamed Bukar told Reuters.
Nigerian military officials say that jihadists from Libya and Mali have come to the country to reinforce the terrorist group.
If you will be flying anywhere in the United States over the next few months, prepare for a few extra minutes in the security line.
Al Qaeda published a new “online recipe” for creating bombs that cannot be detected by the current security measures in place at airports. The result is that the TSA will be conducting random spot checks of carry on baggage at all airports.
Jeh Johnson, head of Homeland Security, met with airline officials to provide them the details of the terrorist thread. The guidelines from Al Qaeda not only included the bomb mixture but also told bombers where to sit on the planes for maximum damage.
“We have no specific, credible intelligence of an attack of the kind in Paris last week being planned by terrorist organizations in this country,” Johnson said in a statement. “But, the reasons for these measures should be self-evident to the public: the recent attacks in Paris, Ottawa, Sydney, and elsewhere, along with the recent public calls by terrorist organizations for attacks on Western objectives, including aircraft, military personnel, and government installations and civilian personnel.”
“The chief Al-Qaeda bombmaker Ibrahim Al-Asiri is innovative in his designs and isn’t to be underestimated,” security expert Ryan Mauro told FoxNews.com. “For Al Qaeda, it is still somewhat of a victory if they can get an explosive on an airliner or even just inside an airport, regardless of whether the device ignites properly.
Al Qaeda in Yemen formally claimed responsibility for last week’s terrorist attack on French newspaper Charlie Hebdo.
The spokesman for the group, Nasser bin Ali al-Ansi, claimed the attack was ordered by the leadership of AQAP because the newspaper had insulted the prophet Mohammad. The group posted a video with the claim on YouTube.
“As for the blessed Battle of Paris, we…claim responsibility for this operation as vengeance for the Messenger of God,” said Nasser bin Ali al-Ansi.
The attack led by Cherif and Said Kouachi had been called an Islamic terrorist attack from the beginning after the brothers told witnesses at the site of the shooting they were connected to Al Qaeda. Western leaders downplayed the Al Qaeda connection claiming that they had no direct evidence of Al Qaeda’s guidance.
The terrorists also mocked the peace rally that took place on Sunday.
“Look at how they gathered, rallied and supported each other; strengthening their weakness and dressing their wounds,” it said of Western leaders who attended the event.
“Look carefully at their gathering. They are the same who fought us in Afghanistan and Caucasus, in Gaza, the Levant, Iraq, Somalia and Yemen.”
The murder of 17 in Paris by Islamic terrorists? It’s Israel’s fault.
That’s the view of former President Jimmy Carter.
Carter appeared on the left-wing comedy show “The Daily Show” and told host Jon Stewart that you had to place the blame for the origin of the terror attack on Israel.
“Well, one of the origins for it is the Palestinian problem,” Carter said. “And this aggravates people who are affiliated in any way with the Arab people who live in the West Bank and Gaza, what they are doing now — what’s being done to them. So I think that’s part of it.”
Carter didn’t elaborate how the end of Israeli-Palestinian conflict would somehow stop the anti-Semitism by Muslims throughout the world. He did go on to say that the attack was a “new development” in Islamic terrorism.
“But I think this is a new evolutionary development in terrorism, where people go into Syria, they get trained there, they have a passport from France, from Great Britain or from the United States,” he added. “They stay there for a few months and learn how to be a terrorist and then they come back through Turkey and you know they have been there and you know who they are. And I think this event in Paris is going to waken up the people in charge of security to watch those people more closely than they have in the past — and not single out all of the Muslims in the country.”
The New York City Police Department, already on alert because of the murder of officers by black residents over the Eric Garner situation, is on highest alert because of threats from Islamic terrorist group ISIS.
ISIS has called for Muslims within America to “strike police” and after last week’s Paris terror attacks officials are seriously considering the threat.
“Do not let the battle pass you by wherever you may be,” ISIS spokesman Abu Mohamad Al-Adnani declared in an online video. “Strike their police, security and intelligence members, as well as their treacherous agents. [For those] who don’t have an improvised explosive device or a bullet, [you] can smash his head with a rock, or slaughter him with a knife, or run him over with your car.”
The NYPD’s deputy commissioner for counterterrorism told CBS’s “Face The Nation” that the announcement was a renewal of a call ISIS made in September for attacks on police.
The NYPD sent an e-mail memo to all police.
“If you are assigned to a fixed post, do not sit together in the RMP [police car],” the e-mail, obtained by The New York Post, read. “At least one officer must stand outside the vehicle at all times. Pay attention to your surroundings. Officers must pay close attention to approaching vehicles . . . Pay close attention to people as they approach. Look for their hands.”
House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Michael McCaul said that the ISIS cyber attacks and threats are “severely disturbing.”
Kurdish soldiers searched the home of slain ISIS commander Emir Abu Zahra and found massive amounts of drugs.
The cocaine found in Zahra’s home confirms suspicions of groups fighting the terrorists that many of the fighters have been pumped up with drugs despite the fact their religion strictly forbids of the use of illegal drugs.
“With the finding of what seems to be Abu Zahra’s cocaine in Kobane, this could be the first confirmed and concrete evidence of drug use among IS fighters — and of a double standard of men who preach fundamentalism, yet they are getting high as they commit massacres,” Vice News reported.
A former teenage fighter for the group had reported they were being forced into taking drugs before battles.
“That drug makes you lose your mind,” the 15-year-old told CBS News. “If they give you a suicide belt and tell you to blow yourself up, you’ll do it.”
Sources say the amount of cocaine found in Zahra’s home had a street value of a half million dollars.
