Boston mayor vows to keep Chick-fil-A out of city

Mark 13:13 “You will be hated by all because of My name, but the one who endures to the end, he will be saved.”

The mayor of Boston is vowing to block Chick-fil-A from opening a restaurant in the city after the company’s president spoke out publicly against gay marriage.

Mayor Thomas Menino told the Boston Herald on Thursday that he doesn’t want a business in the city “that discriminates against a population.”

  1. Actually, the City doesn’t belong to the Major. It belongs to God. And God says the gay lifestyle is an abomination to Him. It’s refreshing to have a company as large as Chic-Fil-A stand up for what is right and true. I’m having my next lunch with Chic-Fil-A. I challenge others to do the same and support them.

  2. God bless the president of Chick-fil-A for standing on His Word.We need more men and women like him. May Chick-fil-A prosper in these times.

  3. Absolutely! Hold to God’s standards. We love individuals and want them to know the truth of God’s tremendous love to ALL of us. The life style is sinful, just like some OTHER life styles are sinful. The sinful life styles are what God says He detests. God loves all people and wants us for Himself to give us His Best; light and life for ALL eternity. That means – we rely on the gift of Grace by way of our Lord Jesus Christ because none of us without Christ, is pure or good enough to inherit Heaven (the Kingdom of God).

  4. I dont eat at the chick-fill-a but i will start to eat there. I am so glad to hear that they are standing for what is true and just. As a christian i am tired of the minority trying to cram down my throat what they believe. How they sugarcoat the lies from satan to make it sound normal and right, you know that god loves the sinner but hates the sin. He must be saddened by this changing of society. It says in the bible in the last days what is right is wrong and what is wrong is right. Look up he is comming soon… We must be prepared pray, trust in his word and be strong. Mary hitchcock.

  5. People should be able to say what they beleave.thisbeing politically correct ,is not right . man up and stop being a sissy ,if people get their feelings hurt oh well ,they will get over it that’s life ,its not biblically correct ,why should every one bow down , to wrong ,I no because right is wrong and gov has made it wrong is the new right ,I won’t mark lackey sheep ,I will not go out. Of my way to say things to poss hurt someones.feelings, but that subject has come up and I politely said how I felt .

  6. I applaud the company. He has a right to his opinion and personal convictions. At least he knows what he stands for. If you don’t up for something…you will fall for Anything. kudos ….freedom of speech isn’t free…apparently it costs you something! He never said he wouldn’t serve them…and then ..how can you tell!!! Seriously get a life and let us live ours as we see fit. We can play with whoever we wish…you don’t always like your kids choices either , but you still love them. Its simply a choice. Get over it. Everybody doesn’t live that lifestyle. Even nature shows you it isn’t natural or right. sin is sin…some peoples sin is just obvious.

  7. stand firm we have the right to believe and have our opinion its the liberals who are intoorent of our beliefs

  8. Will this same mayor work as diligently to prevent all businesses owned by Muslims from operating in his city? After all, they openly oppose homosexuality as well based on their religious beliefs. I think NOT! That would be considered discrimination based on the Muslim faith! And, it would be! AND SO IS THE ACTION OF THIS MAYOR; HE IS DISCRIMINATING AGAINST A COMPANY BASED ON THE RELIGIOUS BELIEF OF THE CEO. This absurdity should be shouted from the rooftops until the passive Christian community wakes up. I personaly will be stopping by a Chic-Filet drive thru in my area tomorrow, just as a show of support. I hope that others will do the same.

  9. good for chic filet, the mayor of Boston needs to read the bible. Keep up the good work to the CEO of chick filet.

  10. I applaud this CEO for taking a stand for righteousness without repentance!!!Woo Hoo!! Thank you Lord for more people willing to take a stand on truth!!! I support Chick Fil A we have always loved their food but will make an extra trip to the restaurant this month to show our support!! I pray God multiplies this business abundantly!!!

  11. Thank You for your boldness. Better to have gods approval than man’s . Better then being luke warm. I say that Christians should think about spending their money other than Boston. We love the people, but stand up for Gods word.

  12. It takes a lot of courage to stand up against the world views. I’m standing with Chick-fil-a. If they only realized, we are not judging anyone. That’s up to the LORD. HE loves everyone and wants them to escape the judgement.

  13. I’m all for the boldness of the CEO of Chick Filet, keep standing on Gods principles and word.
I back you all the way.

    • Pray the mayor finds jesus before his judgement day arrives, and he does not enter the city of god… Forever… He does not know it, but god discriminates against satan, and all that follow him[satan]… To hell… There is no way, god gives any rights to hell or their inhabitants, , , , only to suffer and burn… Their leader is on the path to join them very soon… In the lake of fire… May god bless chick filet… Every church should have a meal there… At chick filet…
