Pastor Jim Bakker Comes Full Circle – God Restores!

For the second day, the Jim Bakker Show was broadcast from the former PTL Studios at Heritage International (formerly Heritage USA) in Fort Mill, South Carolina.

“Uncle Henry just introduced me again. Who says you don’t live twice?” Jim said, referring to his co-host of the PTL Show, Henry Harrison, who passed into Glory in 1995!

Jim recalled how Cindy Jacobs, a respected Prophet, had said, “you must do your show from Heritage. This is ‘Full Circle’ – God is making this right! Because this is a sign and a symbol that God restores – worldwide! It took courage for Jim Bakker to come back here but he loves you. God has taken our mourning and turned it into dancing. He has given the oil of joy for spirit of heaviness – he has come to bind up the brokenhearted,” referring to a well-known passage of the Bible from Isaiah 61.

Cindy also prophesied the building of “Lori’s House,” a home that provides young women an alternative to abortion which is under construction now in Missouri where the Jim Bakker Show originates.

“When the prophetic word came about ‘Lori’s House,’ I did not know her story. But, it is also Full Circle, a sign of restoration,” said Cindy.

By the age of 22, a life of partying, drugs, and rock n’ roll that had begun during Lori’s early teen years had culminated in five abortions which left her unable to have children. By 1985, Lori had survived a ten-year marriage plagued by abuse and domestic violence.

In 1989, Lori turned her life around after making a decision for Christ, and in 2002 Lori and Pastor Jim were blessed by expanding their family with five beautiful children from the inner-city of Phoenix where she ministered for years while at Phoenix First Assembly and attending Master’s Commission.

Jim and Lori introduced three of their children who accompanied them on this trip, one who is the Producer of the Jim Bakker Show. “God restores!” Jim said. “The Assemblies of God ran a crusade years ago – “God forgives, let Him!”

“The devil told me when I was in prison that everything you’ve done is in vain. Then I started getting letters from all of you – sending pictures of teen-agers and growing kids that were saved at Heritage House at Heritage USA. One of our mothers who had a baby there wrote a book. I said “devil you’re a liar!” and everywhere I go people say “I was saved at Heritage, I was healed in the Upper Room, etc.”

Jim went on to thank others, “I wouldn’t be standing here if it weren’t for a lot of people. Today is all about restoration. If you’ve had a setback, get ready for a comeback.”

Pastor Jim then quoted the scripture from Galations, Chapter 6, verses 1 and 2; “Brothers and sisters, if someone in your group does something wrong, you who are spiritual should go to that person and gently help make him right again. But be careful, because you might be tempted to sin, too. By helping each other with your troubles, you truly obey the law of Christ.”

Jim recalled how the condition of the Barn and other buildings on the grounds of Heritage were in such disrepair that people would say they must be torn down – but men like Rick Joyner, Dale and Randy Hill and Russell James have restored them!

Pastor Jim told the audience that this week, these special tapings from the grounds of the former Heritage USA, were about restoration and how God wants to restore so many others who have felt there was no way back to Jesus because of their spiritual setbacks.

He told the audience that “I came back just to tell people that God restores!”

Another very important aspect of Jim and Lori’s ministry in Missouri is training a group of young people known as “GenerationNOW” in Christian television production. Their pilot shows deal with today’s Christian topics that are controversial but relevant to their generation such as human trafficking and gang violence.

They were congratulated at having just been accepted by major Christian television networks and their shows will be airing soon.
