Navy Seals Cut Raid Short When They Saw Children; Al-Shabab Reinforces

The Navy’s elite Seal Team Six cut short their operation to capture a leader of al-Shabab when they saw children would be caught in the crossfire of the attack.

The Seals then said they could not capture their target without causing injuries or deaths to the children and aborted the operation.

Al-Shabab posted pictures on Twitter of equipment left behind by the Seals that indicated the team left in a hurry.

The terrorist group sent reinforcements to Barawe to stave off any future attack on their leadership. Residents says the group brought 200 masked fighters to the coastline with heavy machine guns.

The target of the raid reportedly was an al-Shabab leader named Abdukadir Mohamed Abdukadir.
