Police in Brooklyn, New York are searching for a gunman after he shot a one-year-old boy in the face, killing him in front of his parents.
Police say the boy died around 7:20 p.m. Sunday night. Police believe the gunman had initially intended to kill the boy’s father.
Witnesses say the man was pushing the stroller and started screaming “My baby got shot!” after about four shots rang out.
This is the second time this year that a baby has been shot to death in a stroller in the U.S.; a Georgia man was convicted on Friday of murdering a 13-month-old baby after the child’s mother refused to give him her cell phone.
