Luke 21:25,26 “There will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth dismay among nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves, men fainting from fear and the expectation of the things which are coming upon the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
Astronomers around the world are preparing for a major galactic event tonight, when Venus and Jupiter will cross paths in the night sky.
“To the eye they’ll look like a double star,” Sky & Telescope editor Kelly Beatty said on the magazine’s website.
Some of the astronomers say that the convergence of the two planets is so bright and noticeable that it could have been the “star of Bethlehem” that is mentioned in the Bible. The planets will be a “jaw-dropping one-third of a degree apart” according to NASA.
“You’ll be able to hide the pair not just behind the palm of your outstretched hand, but behind your little pinky finger,” NASA says.
NASA says the convergence of the planets takes place about every 13 months. However, it’s rare that the planets will come so close together in the night sky. The next time the planets will be this close will be November 2065 when they will appear to cross paths.

In St. Louis MO area we had odd sunlight and red moon last night, 30 June. After research I learned its smoke and ash particles in upper atmosphere drifting from northwest Alaska/Canadian fires. The light refraction doesn’t allow the blue colors to come through as easily to our eyes. Ok. The verses in Acts 2 and Rev 6 came to me which states blood FIRE SMOKE – the sun going dark and moon to blood colored before Lords return. And to top it, the Jupiter Venus Regulus sky event is happening at same time! The Bethlehem star announced Jesus’ birth…I believe the combined whole of recent events above are heralding His soon return.
Here in Eastern TN we can see a blood moon tonight (7/1/15). What happened? Next was not due until September.
