Al-Qaeda Issues Call For Domestic Bombings

The Islamic terrorist group Al-Qaeda is calling on its members to launch terrorists attacks in their home countries.

The terror group released a statement in the latest copy of their magazine Inspire that calls for a series of car bombings in countries that they feel are working against Allah.

The magazine piece specifically calls on jihadists to launch attacks in New York, Washington, D.C. and Los Angeles.  The article also specifically calls for attacks in “crusading” countries Great Britain and France.

“Choosing the place and time is a crucial factor to success in any operation,” the magazine reads. “Choose targets in your own country. You know the enemy better, you are within … The important thing is that you target people and not buildings.”

The bombers are used to making attacks during “election seasons” and between Christmas and New Year’s Eve.

The article also gave instructions on how to make a simple bomb.

National Guard Reserve Arrested For Helping Al-Qaeda

A National Guard reservist has been arrested and charged in Federal court with attempting to carry out terror attacks for Al-Qaeda.

Nicholas Teausant, 20, was charged Monday with attempting to provide material to support a foregoing terrorist organization.

Teausant reportedly told an undercover FBI agent that he had been planning a terror attack on a Los Angeles area subway system in January but called it off because the FBI had been tipped to the attack.  He then said he was going to attempt to join Al-Qaeda in Syria to fight against the Syrian government.

Teausant was arrested attempting to sneak into Canada so he could board a flight to Syria.

Teausant was listed in court as a student at San Joaquin Delta Community College and a member of the National Guard.

His family told reporters on Monday that “he’s not a terrorist.  He’s not evil.”

Al-Qaeda Releasing Magazine For “Western Jihadists”

The official media outlet for the terrorist group al-Qaeda is planning an English language magazine aimed at “Western Jihadists.”

In a video posting to YouTube, the group quotes American Muslim leader Malcolm X and then introduces the new magazine they call “Resurgence.”

The media group, al-Sahab, is the same group that has been releasing videos and messages from Al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri for years.  They also help produce another magazine written for middle eastern jihadists with instructions on carrying out attacks and preparations for the assaults.

Observers say the announcement gives further proof of a break between senior Al-Qaeda leadership and groups in Syria and Iraq that had aligned with the international terror network.

The group is also trying to re-establish itself as the world leader when it comes to Islamic jihadism.

Saudi Arabia Declares Muslim Brotherhood Terrorists

The Muslim Brotherhood is now a terrorist organization in another major Middle Eastern country.

The group, already a terrorist organization in Egypt, is now officially a terrorist organization in Saudi Arabia.

The move is seen as a response by the Kingdom to the possibility that Muslim Brotherhood extremists from Syria will attempt to return to Saudi Arabia after the civil war ends.

In addition to the Brotherhood, Saudi officials also listed the Al-Nusra Front and the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant as terror groups.  The two groups are affiliated with al-Qaeda and have been proven to conduct terrorist attacks in Syria and Iraq.

The new Saudi declaration would make adopting their ideaology or promoting them in any way within the Kingdom would result in significant prison terms.

Amnesty International opposed the designation, saying that Saudi Arabia was trying to silence dissent, not stop terrorist groups from conducting actions in their nation.

Islamists Force Christians To Pay To Live

Islamic terrorists in Syria are forcing Christians to sign documents agreeing to pay hundreds of dollars or be killed for refusing to convert to Islam.

The Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant, an al-Qaeda related terrorist group, has obtained a level of control in parts of Syria that they are giving Christians the options to convert to Islam or pay money to not be killed.

The agreement says that any Christian who doesn’t want to be killed has to pay four gold dinars twice a year, which amounts to about $500 American dollars per six months.  The agreement says that middle class Christians will pay half the total and poor pays one quarter of the cost.

The agreement also puts heavy restrictions on Christians regarding their worship.  While they will be able to worship, they cannot build new churches or replace any churches that are destroyed by government troops, Islamic terror groups or even ordinary Muslims.

Christians are also prohibited from stopping any Christian from converting to Islam who wishes to do so.  They also cannot engage in commerce involving pork.

Shoe Bomb Threat From Al Qaeda

A security threat issued this week by Homeland Security regarding shoe bomb attacks on international flights into the U.S. is due to intelligence reports showing Al-Qaeda plotting the attacks.

DHS issued the warning after Ibrahim Hassaon al-Asiri, a Saudi Arabian man who plotted other failed shoe bomb attacks for the terrorist group, reportedly has developed a new method of hiding explosives in shoes.

U.S. officials label al-Asiri the best terrorist bomb maker in the world.

The bulletin to security screeners around the world calls on them to use swabs containing explosive detecting chemicals on shoes because an X-ray may not be able to detect the devices.

Increased security has already been seen in London and Amsterdam.

The DHS report says that the current plot is not connected in any way to plot involving the current Olympic games.

Israel Stops Al-Qaeda Plot On U.S. Embassy

Israeli intelligence officials scored a major success when they stopped an Al-Qaeda plot for major attacks inside Israel including an assault on the U.S. Embassy in Tel Aviv.

Shin Bet internal security agency discovered the plot where the terror group recruited Palestinians to do the legwork for an attack that would be carried out by al-Qaeda operatives that they would sneak into the country.

The three Palestinian men in custody have confirmed the point man for al-Qaeda, Arib al-Sham, is still in the Gaza Strip.  He is the subject of a massive manhunt.  The operatives also told Shin Bet that the master plan came from al-Qaeda worldwide leader, Ayman al-Zawahiri.

The main parts of the attack were twin homicide bombings.  The first would target the U.S. Embassy in Tel Aviv and the second would hit the main Israeli convention center in Jerusalem.  Additional attacks were planned against Israeli busses and Jewish homes in East Jerusalem.

Shin Bet says the discovery adds confirmation to suspicions that al-Qaeda now has a base of operations in the Gaza Strip.

State Department Names Terrorists That Attacked Benghazi

The U.S. State Department has officially named specific groups as being responsible for the 2012 Benghazi attack.

According to State Department officials, Ansar al-Sharia in Benghazi and Darnah are now officially terrorist organizations designated in part because of their roles in the Benghazi attacks.  The heads of the two organizations, Sufian bin Qumu and Ahmed Abu Khattalah, were also designated as most wanted terrorists.

Both groups have been accused of also attacking civilian targets, frequent assassinations and attempted assassinations of security officials.

The State Department tried to downplay any connection with Al-Qaeda saying the groups acted alone but Fox News was able to confirm that the leaders have been trained in al-Qaeda camps.

Iraq Ambassador Slams U.S. Over Al-Qaeda

Amid a resurgence of the Islamic terrorist group Al-Qaeda in his country, Iraqi ambassador to the United States LukmanFaily is taking aim at the administration.

Faily told the Washington Times that the current U.S. administration does not understand the danger coming from Al-Qaeda and that they need to step up and provide more help to the Iraqi government.

Al-Qaeda seized control of the city of Fallujah last week and controls parts of the city of Ramadi.  The group has said that Iraq is now an Islamic state under their control.  Iraqi government forces along with Sunni Muslim groups throughout the region are fighting to dislodge the terrorists before they can fortify strongholds.

Faily said leaders in both U.S. political parties need to stop holding up much needed military and nation-building support as part of domestic political infighting.

“I personally think that it’s tragic that the issue of the whole American project in Iraq is now becoming a ball in relations to the party politics within D.C.,”Failysaid. “I don’t think it’s beneficial for the United States. It’s definitely not beneficial for Iraq to become a tool in Republican versus Democrat or whomever. This is not helpful for U.S. security, it is not helpful for us, it is not helpful for the region.”

Al-Qaeda Attacks Iraqi Army

Days after the Islamic terrorist group al-Qaeda seized control of Fallujah, Iraq, the terrorists attacked Iraqi special forces in the suburbs of the town.

Military officials did not give casualty totals but said that the assault began following the kidnapping of an army officer and four soldiers.

The terrorists gained control of Fallujah over the weekend along with part of the provincial capital of Ramadi. The cities are notorious for being locations of fierce fighting between local clans and also were the towns that American Marines called the “bloodiest battles” of the 2004 Iraq War.

Al-Qaeda has declared an Islamic state in Iraq and raised their flag over the government buildings under their control in the two cities.

In addition to the military style fighting with troops, al-Qaeda terrorists have been continuing to launch homicide bomb attacks on military checkpoints and police stations. An attack on a police station in Kirkuk killed 2 and wounded 55 today.
